What to expect after having a lipoma removed?
It depends on where the lipoma is located. You may have some local pain or swelling, but that should be minimum. You may have some bruising. If your doctor has to remove sutures, you may have to have them removed in 10-14 days or so. If the lipoma is large, you can collect fluid where the lipoma was; rarely, your doctor will insert a drain that has to be removed when the fluid collection is no longer an issue. READ MORE
